Also, according to the report I received, “If every person living today could trace his or her maternal line back over thousands of generations. all of our lines would meet at a single woman who lived in eastern Africa 150,000 and 200,000 years ago.”
This… from a discipline that believes the Garden of Eden is a myth, and that human beings merely evolved from other lifeforms.
Eve, along with her husband Adam, were instructed by God to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. (Gen. 1:28). Adam proclaimed his wife’s name Chavah or Havah (translated as Eve, to us) which means “to live” or “to give life,” even “giver of life.” She was so named because Adam knew “she was the mother of all living.” (Gen. 3:20) All!
Paul explained to the Greek philosophers of his day in Acts 17:26, that God has “made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth,..”
You heard him. God did indeed make every human being alive today as the descendants of just one couple. Science has confirmed it, but they do not want to admit it. The report, which used the language of evolution, claimed that this genetic Eve was just one of perhaps thousands of women alive at that time. But in the same sentence they admit that only this particular Eve's offspring are alive today. Can we just admit the Bible is a historically accurate document? There was only one Adam. One Eve. And Eve’s daughters and granddaughters, the women of this world, continue her legacy of giving life, exemplifying life, and mothering life, generation after generation. It is a glorious calling.
